The Hall County Board of Commissioners District 1 Republican Primary race will go into a runoff between incumbent Kathy Cooper and challenger Mark Turner.
Cooper received 44% of the votes, while Turner received 28%. Cooper faced four challengers initially, including Korey Anderson and Mark Faul. Anderson received 18% of the votes, while Faul received 10%.
The runoff elections will take place on June 16. No Democratic candidate is running for the seat.
