Republican voters across Georgia cast their ballots Tuesday in a closely watched U.S. Senate primary race that could help shape the balance of power in Washington.
Mike Collins won 40% of the vote in the Republican primary, with 328,022 votes. Buddy Carter and former football coach Derek Dooley were competing for the second runoff spot.
The runoff will take place on June 16.
Jon Ossoff ran unopposed and will face the winner of the runoff in the November general election.
