The Hall County Board of Education Republican Primary for the At-Large seat has gone into a runoff between Joe Anglin and Susan Aycock Smith.
Anglin received 44% of the votes, while Smith received just over 32%. A third opponent, Carla Baker, received just over 22% of the vote.
The At-Large seat was vacated by Bill Thompson, who is retiring.
The runoff election will be on June 16. The winner of the runoff will face Democratic challenger Susan Martin Taylor in the general election in November.
