Georgia 9th Congressional District Republican Candidate Sam Couvillon is holding an election night watch party at Decoy on the Downtown Gainesville Square.
AccessWDUN attended the first half-hour, with roughly 50 people bustling in and around the restaurant eagerly awaiting the election results.
“The hay is in the barn, polls have closed,” Couvillon told AccessWDUN. “What you can do as a candidate is look back and look at the job that you did, and can you say you did all you could do? I feel like I did all I could.”
Couvillon added he was pleased to see the turnout at Decoy.
“We’re gonna have a good crowd tonight, and hopefully have a lot to celebrate,” Couvillon said.
AccessWDUN will have the results as soon as the race is called.
