Andrew Clyde has won the Republican nomination for the fourth time in a row for Georgia’s 9th Congressional District. He overcame significant challenges from Hall County Commissioner Gregg Poole and former Gainesville Mayor Sam Couvillon.
Clyde currently has over 78% of the vote with roughly 30% of votes counted.
Clyde will face off against Democrat Nick Alex or Caitlyn Gegen in the November 3 general election.
