Houston Gaines has won the Republican nomination for Georgia’s 10th Congressional District.
Gaines is a current State House Representative and now moves one step closer to becoming a U.S. Representative.
Gaines currently has 70% of the vote with over 30% of ballots are currently in. Plumber Jeff Baker has 13% of the vote and former film executive Ryan Millsap has 17%.
Gaines will face off against either 2024 Democratic nominee for the seat and Athens resident Lexy Doherty or 39-year Army veteran from Henry County Pamela DeLancy. DeLancy is currently up 60% to 33% with 28% of the vote in.
