The JROTC program at Stephens County High School (SCHS) is a citizenship program where young men and women have an opportunity to learn patience, perseverance, and responsibility.  Through character development courses, physical fitness competitions, and a variety of community service opportunities, Cadets build strong relationships with fellow students and their Army Instructors, says SCHS JROTC Instructor, CW4 retired, Chief Edward Luttrell.

They also learn invaluable life skills and are ready for a world of future possibilities, adds Chief Luttrell.

Funded by the U.S. Army, Cadet uniforms are provided free. Students do not have to be interested in joining the military to participate in the JROTC program. To learn more, speak to the Guidance Counselors at SCHS.
