Music, moving, workmanship, sustenance, history and society are the pulse of this little mountain villa. Local Americans manufactured the Sautee Nacoochee Indian hill which stands today as a demonstration of their enduring foot shaped impression upon the area.  The slave lodge on the grounds of the Sautee Nacoochee Center offers an investigate a little divide of the region’s legacy and society alongside the famous Folk Pottery Museum of Northeast Georgia with useful gems made by mortal hands yet regularly showing the inventive soul inside.  The Stovall Covered Bridge remains as a demonstration of a period passed by.  The Gourd Ladies at The Gourd Place blend the new with the old, sprinkling a little creative energy.  People frequently send their particular gourds from around the globe to add to the gathering at the International Gourd Museum. Vineyards spot the scene and a few tasting rooms have opened up giving guests the opportunity to revel in the neighborhood “products of the soil of the wine”.
