Habersham Winery

Habersham Winery has been producing award winning Georgia wines since 1983 and is one of Georgia’s oldest and largest wineries.

Located in the North Georgia Wine Country, one half mile south of Alpine Helen in Nacoochee Village, the winery is open daily for complimentary tastings and self guided tours.

In addition to a large selection of Georgia grown and produced wines, the tasting room also features a gift shop with gourmet foods and wine specialty items from around the world. We carry imported cheeses and all the fixings for a perfect picnic.

From the vineyard to the shelf, we produce Georgia’s finest wines.

Since 1983, some of the finest award winning Georgia Wines have been produced at Habersham Vineyards & Winery. Habersham’s commitment to quality begins with careful monitoring of both the grapes in our vineyard as well as those we purchase. Attention to detail continues through the crushing, fermentation and aging process. Our winemaker, UC Davis and California trained, personally sees to each detail of every process.

Many People travel to North Georgia for Wine Tasting and the Habersham Winery is one of the first be put on the travel list because of the great wine and atmosphere of their tasting room.

Invece andando a lavorare alle sette e quaranta del mattino sabato scorso, ho incontrato per strada un uomo che urlava al cielo IO SONO UNO SCRITTORE! Veniva verso di me, puzzava di vino, un po TM sporco un po TM sudato e io pensavo avr capito male, non avr detto mica scrittore certo sarebbe curioso, alle sette e quaranta del mattino, eppure dopo pochi passi l TMaveva ripetuto il grido IO SONO UNO SCRITTORE! e io gli ho detto guarda almeno io ti credo, sei in buona compagnia, hai mai provato in passato io non ce la faccio proprio, a essere morto come loro, per adesso devo andare a lavorare in cassa a battere un bel po TM di scontrini con la coda che non finisce mai, che una volta venuto in negozio Carlo F., io ero dentro la teca in vetro numero 7 da ore e ore, da giorni e giorni ormai dimentico del mio amato mestiere di libraio e lui aveva pagato alla 9 ma dopo era tornato indietro apposta per salutarmi, gli era piaciuto il mio primo romanzetto, aveva aperto la porta di vetro che stava dietro la mia schiena mi aveva dato un pacca sulla spalla e mi aveva detto: Forza . Al momento ero rimasto sorpreso, vuoi perch dopo due tre ore di cassa con la coda continua il cervello tende a sbriciolarsi, per chi non l TMavesse mai provato c TM il rischio di ritrovarsi mentalmente dentro il Tic di Giorgio Gaber, vuoi perch Forza non me l TMaspettavo, e girandomi su me stesso probabilmente avevo risposto S, ciao , che non era forse la cosa migliore ma cosa avrei dovuto dire, ci avevo ripensato quando se n TMera andato Carlo forse sarebbe stato meglio dire Grazie , oppure Juve , ma non era il caso di mettersi a fare cori con la gente in coda, Carlo, vero su Forza Juve siamo d TMaccordo, ma insomma, non tutti purtroppo la pensano come noi.
