Cindy Angliss’ Hickory Flat Pottery has a working pottery studio. She has a potter for about 30 years.
When you visit, you will see Her or their resident potter creating pots daily. They produce decorative functional stoneware that is oven, dishwasher, and microwave safe and meant to be used.
Hickory Flat Pottery is located in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains, close to Lake Burton and Helen, on Georgia’s Historic Scenic Highway 197.
The Pottery Studio and Gallery are housed in the historic 112 year old Wikle homestead. It has a history and personality all its own as do I, and chances are if you come back again and again you will find out about both.
In the Gallery connected to the pottery studio, you will find the work of over 20 other artists including pottery, jewelry, glass, copper and metal art, fiber and wood.
Their pottery is lead-free, oven, dishwasher, and microwave safe. So check out Hickory Flat Pottery if you want to see some really good stoneware.
