Republican voters in Georgia State House District 29 headed to the polls Tuesday to decide the party’s nominee for the November general election. The race featured Matt Dubnik and Cody S. Ewing in a closely watched primary contest.
With nearly 41% of the vote in, Dubnik led the field with 2,269 votes, or 86%. Ewing received 342 votes, totaling 13% of the vote.
Dubnik will advance to face Democratic candidate Scott Soracco in the November general election.
