The Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce (GHCC) is hosting a candidate forum Monday at the civic center featuring candidates for Hall County Commission districts 1 and 3. Doors open at 5:30 and the program begins at 6:00.
The district 1 candidates are incumbent Kathy Cooper and challenger Mark Turner, a small business owner. The district 3 candidates are Murrayville business owner Tyler Crawford and Gainesville businessman Shannon Davidson. Greg Poole vacated the post last year for an unsuccessful campaign for Congress.
The elections will take place on June 16. Early voting is June 8-June 12. Link for election details: Hall County Elections.
