Mr. Gregory “Greg” Carl Morgan, age 62 of Ridgeland Road, Eastanollee, Georgia passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his family.
A son of Patricia Pulliam Waldon and the late Carl Morgan, he was born December 29, 1963, in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life. He was a cattle farmer and poultry farmer for many years and worked in maintenance for several businesses. He later had to retire for health reasons. He was a member and deacon of Mullins Ford Baptist Church and a member of the Toccoa Kiwanis Club. He loved fishing, hunting and racing. He was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and brother.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Morgan and by a brother, Steve Morgan.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Pulliam Waldon of Martin, Georgia; his wife, Jackie Stancil Morgan of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Carlie Joe Brooks ( Brandon) of Clarkesville, Georgia and Cassie Greg Gable (Jacob) of Martin, Georgia; granddaughter, Brynn Brooks; brother, Brian Morgan of Greenville, South Carolina; two nephews, Matthew Morgan of Martin, Georgia and Cruize Stancil of Toccoa, Georgia; aunt, Joyce Medlin of Toccoa, Georgia.
Funeral services will be Monday, June 1, 2026, at Mullins Ford Baptist Church with The Reverend Art Conway officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Wayne Herron, Terry Dooley, Greg Savage, Kenneth Yearwood, Mark Brock and Thayer Brock. Honorary pallbearers will be George Dean, Denman McFarlin, Matthew Morgan, Cruize Stancil and Chad Medlin and should assemble at the church by 1:30 p.m.
The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Sunday, May 31, 2026, 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and on Monday from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.
The family would like to extend thanks to the staff of Tugalo Home Health and Amedisys Hospice for the wonderful care for their loved one during this difficult time.
Interment will follow in the Mullins Ford Baptist Church Cemetery with The Reverend Harris Pressley officiating.
