Millie Bobby Brown to Film Netflix’s “Just Picture It” This Fall

Millie Bobby Brown, known for her role as Eleven in Stranger Things, will soon be filming in Georgia for her next Netflix project. The romantic comedy with a sci-fi twist, Just Picture It, is set to film in metro Atlanta from September 8 through October 29.

Film Details

Just Picture It teams Brown with The Fabelmans actor Gabriel LaBelle. The story follows two college students who have never met—until their phones begin showing images of themselves ten years in the future, happily married with children. As they try to understand this mysterious glitch, a romance unfolds.

The film is directed by Lee Toland Krieger (The Age of Adaline, You) and written by Jesse Lasky, a former writer for The Late Show with David Letterman and Code Black. Producers include Joe Roth (executive producer on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) and Jeff Kirschenbaum for RK Films, along with Brown and Robert Brown for PCMA Productions. Executive producers are Jake Bongiovi and Isobel Roberts for PCMA Productions, Alyssa Altman for RK Films, and David Kern.

Behind the Camera & Georgia Roots

Brown is not only starring but also producing, making Just Picture It her fourth Netflix project in a producing role after the Enola Holmes trilogy and Damsel. This will be her first romantic comedy and her seventh Netflix title overall.

A familiar face in Georgia thanks to her Stranger Things work, Brown now lives on a farm In Fayetteville, Georgia with her husband, actor and model Jake Bongiovi who is the son of Jon Bon Jovi. The couple married in 2024 and share their property with dogs, a pony, and a cow.

Production Schedule

Filming will take place in and around Atlanta this fall under the code name JPI (but could change). Netflix has not yet announced a release date for Just Picture It. Background casting is being handled by CL Casting.
