Gwinnett County Detectives search for suspect wanted on child molestation, kidnapping

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted on multiple felony warrants involving crimes against a child.

The Gwinnett County Police Department said they are searching for Bernardo Antonio Romero-Linarte, who faces charges including kidnapping, false imprisonment, aggravated sodomy, aggravated child molestation, sexual battery, and child molestation, according to police.

Investigators said Romero-Linarte’s current whereabouts are unknown, but he was last believed to be in the Norcross area.

Police are urging the public not to approach Romero-Linarte if he is seen. Instead, anyone with information regarding his location is asked to call 911 immediately.

Anyone with information related to the investigation can also contact Gwinnett County Police detectives at 770-513-5300. Anonymous tips may be submitted through Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta or by calling 404-577-TIPS (8477). Authorities said tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward if their information leads to an arrest and indictment.
