A Gainesville man was arrested after a traffic stop in Flowery Branch reportedly led to the seizure of a “large quantity” of marijuana, as well as firearms.
The Flowery Branch Police Department said officers stopped the vehicle driven by Deago Kelly, age 26, the area of G.C. Crow Road and McEver Road on Tuesday afternoon. Officers reportedly found probable cause to search Kelly’s vehicle.
“Upon searching the vehicle, Officers located a large quantity of suspected marijuana, THC products, and multiple firearms,” a release from the police department said.
Deago was arrested at the scene. As of Wednesday afternoon, he remained in the Hall County Jail without bond on charges including possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
