The ‘Dawgs are warming up in cursed Knee-Land Stadium to take on the Volunteers of Tennessee. A few pregame notes:
- Sources report that freshman offensive guard Juan Gaston will be playing today. The sources? Andrew Smart on Instagram.
- The ‘Dawgs need to be able to run the ball in this one to take some time off the clock and pressure off the defense. But I think they also need to be able to take advantage of a Tennessee defense that is down some guys up front and in the secondary to hit some big plays. I suspect we’ll either feel much better or much worse about Gunner Stockton in about three hours.
- Special teams has often made a difference in Georgia/Tennessee matchups, as have key turnovers. Georgia has been really good at the former, now would be a fantastic time to pick up some of the latter.
