Update 10:00 A.M.:
Browns Bridge Road was closed until after daybreak Thursday morning after a tree fell onto an SUV near the bridge about 2:30.
The vehicle was driven by Jesus Razo, 50, of Gainesville who escaped any injury.
The incident resulted in a complete closure of Browns Bridge Road, in both directions. But the patrol report says that due to the efforts of Hall County Fire Rescue, one lane was able to be opened at approximately 3:45. However, it was nearly 8:00 before both lanes were open.
Update 8:05 A.M.
The road is open.
Update: 5:00 A.M. 
One lane of traffic has now opened.

Browns Bridge Rd at Old 141 will be shut down due tree in the roadway/accident. Georgia State Patrol will handle the investigation. We will update you when the roadway is open.
