AccessWDUN is now again known as Access North Georgia as Jacobs Media Corporation celebrates 77 years of service to the Northeast Georgia region.
The news website has been serving the region since 1999, working under the same Jacobs Media Corporation that has operated radio stations WDUN and WGGA in Gainesville since 1949. The website was renamed to AccessWDUN in 2015.

Acting News Director Caleb Hutchins said while the name is changing, the site’s commitment to providing the latest in Northeast Georgia news is not.
“The one constant in this website’s more than 25 years of operation has been our focus on providing free, up-to-date, accurate reporting on the entire Northeast Georgia region,” Hutchins said. “The website’s name truly spells out exactly what we aim to provide our readers – the ability to ‘Access’ North Georgia.”
While the website’s domain is changing to AccessNorthGA.com, the website can still be accessed by typing the previous domain, “AccessWDUN.com,” into your browser.
