Rabun Gap-Nacooche School honored its largest class in school history last week.

During its 123rd Commencement ceremony, the school celebrated 107 graduates. The class also secured a 100% college acceptance rate into four-year institutions.

The school’s highest student honor, the Crystal Eagle Award for outstanding leadership and community involvement, was presented to Mac Simpson of Cornelia and to Emberlyn Casebolt of Otto, North Carolina.

This year’s graduation also marked the farewell of the Head of School Jeff Miles at the conclusion of his seven-year tenure at Rabun Gap.

Delivering the commencement address, Miles reflected on his time as Head of School and urged the Class of 2026 to focus on gratitude as they head into their next journey.
