Areas under the advisory include:

Several local businesses are not connected to the affected water line and remain unaffected by the advisory. Those businesses include Chick-fil-A, Subway, Soda Fountain, Regions Bank and Ace Hardware.

City crews are working to restore water service. Once repairs are completed, the affected area will remain under the boil water advisory until at least Friday morning, May 22.

Water samples will be collected and sent to a laboratory on Thursday, May 21. If test results come back clear after a 24-hour review period, the advisory will be lifted.
