Congressman Andrew Clyde has joined other state, local, and national political figures and others in mourning the death of fellow U.S. Rep. David Scott, a House colleague from Georgia.
“I’m saddened by the news of Rep. David Scott’s passing,” Clyde (R-Jackson County) whose district includes part of Hall County posted on X. “He devoted his life to public service, including representing Georgia’s 13th District in Congress for over two decades. Please join me in praying for his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.”
Scott, a Democrat, died Wednesday at the age of 80.
