A routine traffic stop turned into a major drug bust in Oconee County when Deputy Tyler Ward pulled over a vehicle on Highway 316 near the Oconee Connector on Sept. 30.
Inside, deputies found methamphetamine, cocaine, and fentanyl.
Officials say the seizure prevented dangerous drugs from reaching the community. Sheriff’s officials thanked Ward for his proactive policing and vowed continued enforcement.
