We began with 29 Volleyball Player of the Year Nominees. After tediously studying each nominee, BLITZ has narrowed it down to a finalist group of seven players. The finalists who are locked in ahead of the vote for Player of the Year include: Kamryn Brown (Union), Avery Burton (Franklin), Becca Heyl (Tallulah), Hannah Howard (Jefferson), Kenzie King (Habersham), Kallie Thrift (Franklin), and Kalynn Watkins (White)
NEXT: It’s time for a Fan Vote to get in the ‘Last Finalist.’ Choose from one of the select players (scroll to bottom or visit our Polls Page). Once that vote is finished, that last finalist will join those already locked in. Our internal vote (not public) will feature up to 25 local sports media members voting Heisman-style for the winner of each fall sport.
