Two people were arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine after they were allegedly found with over 80 grams of drugs during a traffic stop.

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office said at around 9 a.m., Nov. 17, deputies stopped a pickup truck for failure to maintain lane on Limestone Parkway near Jesse Jewell Parkway.

While deputies were talking to the driver, Arthur Harold Wilson, 42, of Gainesville, and his passenger, Brittany Renee Dale, 37, of Gainesville, A K-9 conducted a free air sniff, alerting to the presence of drugs.

Deputies searched the vehicle and reportedly found a package containing the methamphetamine, with an estimated street value of $6,450.

Wilson and Dale were arrested for trafficking methamphetamine. Wilson was cited for tire conditions-tread required and issued a warning citation for failure to maintain lane.

They were both booked into the Hall County Jail and remain held without bond.
