Paramount+ has officially renewed Tulsa King for a fourth season, and production is scheduled to begin in Georgia on November 4, 2025. The hit series will once again use Eagle Rock Studios in Norcross as its home base, the same stage facility that housed sets for the past two seasons — including the “Bred 2 Buck” set.
Record-Breaking Popularity
The renewal doesn’t come as a surprise. Led by Sylvester Stallone, Tulsa King has been Paramount’s most-watched original series. The season two premiere alone drew 21.1 million global streaming viewers, setting a record for the platform.
A Spinoff on the Horizon

The Tulsa King universe is also expanding. A new spinoff series, NOLA King, is in development with Samuel L. Jackson who has starred in almost a million productions including the Star Wars prequel films as Mace Windu. In NOLA King he will be starring as Russell Lee Washington Jr. — a character audiences will first meet in the third season of Tulsa King.
Showrunner Changes
Behind the scenes, Tulsa King is making another shift. Terence Winter, the original writer and showrunner from season one, is returning to lead season four. He’ll replace Dave Erickson, who guided season three. Winter’s return has sparked speculation that season four could revisit threads and characters introduced in the show’s debut season..
Season 3 Began Streaming on September 21
Season three of Tulsa King premiered on Sunday, September 21, 2025, with an 86% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The new season is bringing with it new threats for Dwight Manfredi. According to Paramount+, the new season follows Dwight as his criminal empire continues to grow, putting him in direct conflict with the Dunmires — an old-money liquor dynasty led by patriarch Robert Patrick. The family’s ruthless methods force Dwight to protect both his business and his crew like never before.
Cast and Crew
Alongside Stallone, season three features a large ensemble including Martin Starr, Jay Will, Annabella Sciorra, Neal McDonough, Beau Knapp, Bella Heathcote, Chris Caldovino, McKenna Quigley Harrington, Mike “Cash Flo” Walden, Kevin Pollak, Vincent Piazza, Frank Grillo, Michael Beach, James Russo, Garrett Hedlund, and Dana Delany.
Executive producers on the series include Taylor Sheridan, Sylvester Stallone, Terence Winter, Dave Erickson, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Jim McKay, Sheri Elwood, Ildy Modrovich, and Keith Cox.
There is no word yet how who will be handling background casting duties. Last season Central Casting handled the majority of the background casting. Season 4 background casting will likely not be Rose Locke (IYKYK).
