Travis Scott “don’t play” when it comes to his kids.
The 34-year-old rapper opened up in a new interview with Rolling Stone about how fatherhood has transformed him and the lessons he’s learned since welcoming daughter Stormi, 7, and son Aire, 3, with ex Kylie Jenner.
“You can’t crash out. You can’t do a lot of crazy s— like you would,” he told the outlet.
Scott also shared that his two kids are quite similar to him, especially when they get ensnared into new “ideas.” He also recalled a previous memory seeing his son Aire’s imagination light up.
“My kids are just like me when it comes to trying to get off ideas,” he explained.

“My son’s 3 now, about to be 4” he continued. “I took him to the Disney Imagineering spot, and his mind was just going off when he seen the robots and all the new tech and how it’s built.”
While his kids are able to immerse themselves in new technology, the musician said that he draws the line with artificial intelligence (AI) and wants to make sure that his kids understand the basics before anything else.
“My kids don’t have AI,” he told Rolling Stone. “Having AI right now will compress their ability for their brain to maximize.”

“So they got to learn the physical and the actual way of learning so then they know how to actually use AI to their best ability, because if it’s doing everything for you, how do you even know what’s right or wrong?,” he added.
His new interview comes a couple of months after he surprised fans by bringing his daughter Stormi onstage while performing his song “Thank God” during a concert in Tokyo in November 2025. She could be seen smiling and dancing with her dad as she sported headphones, a graphic T-shirt, fur coat and brightly colored braided hair.
Scott also held the microphone up for Stormi as she performed her line as it appeared on the 2023 track saying, “That’s right, Daddy,” as her dad rapped: “Storm’s a minor but you know she livin’ major,” according to videos taken by fans at the show.

The rapper then prompted the crowd to “give it up” for his daughter, as the audience cheered.
Scott has previously shared some insight into his and Jenner’s parenting in the past, noting in his CR Men September 2021 cover story that they take a more “natural” approach when it comes to parenting their daughter.
“She’s so fire because she goes to sleep now,” he shared at the time. “We try to do a more natural vibe [with parenting], like more self-discipline. Like, ‘Okay, you know you got to go to bed at 9, are you going to stay up till 11 or are you going to go to sleep now?’ And it’s so cool [to hear her say], ‘I’m going to sleep ya’ll!’ “
Scott and Jenner, 28, called it quits for a second time in late 2022. They welcomed Stormi in February 2018 and Aire in February 2022.
