Needing just one win to tie the single-season record, Towns County (7-3) produced a 38–0 victory against Rock Springs Christian on a rare Thursday night game at home to close the season. This Indians team was one of the most successful offensively and defensively, and played to those standards.

The Indians couldn’t have scripted a better first half, scoring on all five possessions with touchdowns. On the third play on offense, Alex Baert ran one in from 43 yards out. The next drive netted another TD as Sam Sarafin took a double reverse in for a 14-yd score.

Dustin Barrett had two TD runs in the second quarter, with a TD pass to Sarafin between. Towns County’s defense smothered Rock Springs, recovering a fumble in the second quarter with Daylen Sosebee coming away with it.

That produced a running clock for the second half, as Towns was able to rotate in several young players. They were able to tack on a field goal in the fourth to cap the scoring at 38–0.
