Top 50 fantasy football PPR TEs for Week 16

The fantasy football playoffs are in full swing. Hopefully you have Trey McBride at tight end, but if you don’t. you might want to take a look at this week’s rankings. And here is to a healthy playoff week!

Week 16 byes

None.

TE streamer of the week

Darren Waller, Bengals vs. Dolphins

This is almost too good to be true. Waller is just rostered on 37% of Yahoo teams and gets by far the best tight end matchup of the season. The Bengals have given up the most offense by tight ends and by a wide margin. Waller has played in six games and has six touchdowns, with two coming last week against the Steelers.

TE injuries

David Njoku, Browns

Njoku tweaked his knee injury in Week 15 and didn’t practice ahead of Week 16 and was subsequently out. This has been a recurring knee problem for Njoku, so I expect they give him some real time to rest and we could easily see him get shut down with three games remaining in a lost season.

Cade Otton, Buccaneers

Otton suffered a knee injury two weeks ago and got in one limited practice last Friday. He was listed as doubtful for last week, so it appears there is a chance he can do more this week and be able to go against the Panthers in a big matchup.

Mason Taylor, Jets

Taylor wasn’t able play or practice all last week due to a neck injury. Unless we see him get out there in practice, we have to believe he’ll miss again. There aren’t many Jets you want to risk starting in the fantasy playoffs as it is though.
