“The Real Housewives of Rhode Island’”s First Trailer Revealed at BravoCon 2025: ‘Smallest State with the Biggest Attitude’

The Real Housewives of Rhode Island is coming!

On Sunday, Nov. 16 at BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas, Andy Cohen revealed a first look at the latest installment in the Housewives franchise. During the panel, Ask Andy, he announced The Real Housewives of Rhode Island will premiere next year.

Bravo first announced that the beloved franchise was expanding in May. And at the time, the cast was described as “a tight-knit circle of Rhode Islanders who have deep community roots and families that go back generations.”

As the teaser was announced, the network described the cast as “a fresh, charismatic group of women whose lives intertwine across the storied coastline of New England luxury.”

The premiere season will star seven women, including Alicia Carmody, Rosie DiMare, Ashley Iaconetti, Liz McGraw, Rulla Nehme Pontarelli, Kelsey Swanson and Jo-Ellen Tiberi, as “they navigate the highs and lows of Rhode Island’s close-knit social scene,” the release states.

It will also feature appearances from a familiar face — Dolores Catania from The Real Housewives of New Jersey — who is joining as a friend of McGraw.

In the teaser trailer, the ladies explain their state is “a blip” on the map, “but to us, it’s the center of the universe.”

Another Housewife says in Rhode Island, “nobody tells anybody the truth and everybody just lies to each other’s faces.” Adding, “Smallest state with the biggest attitude, what are you gonna do?”

In the trailer, the ladies explain that everyone has “deep roots” and knows one another’s extended families. “If they didn’t see you in kindergarten, it’s a problem,” says Carmody.

Carmody is described as “Rhode Island to the core” and a “runaway bride.” After eight years engaged to fiancé Billy Kitsilis, she isn’t ready to take the plunge — even for their daughter, Celina. When she’s “not dodging wedding bells,” Alicia helps Billy run his restaurant, Pizza Mamma.

DiMare is a former local television news anchor and is now a DJ and the host of her own lifestyle program. She’s been married for one year to husband Rich DiMare, a well-known Frank Sinatra style singer.

Iaconetti was featured on Bachelor in Paradise, where she found love with her now-husband, Jared Haibon, a Rhode Island native. She has two boys, Dawson and Hayden, and works on her “career as a social media powerhouse” while navigating the new world in her husband’s home state.

McGraw is the state’s “cannabis queen.” She owns and operates The Slater Center, the largest and most successful cannabis dispensary in Rhode Island, with her husband. She’s also a devoted stepmom to Miranda, Briana, and Skyla.

Pontarelli is a certified financial planner and wealth manager and mom of two young children, Luca and Laila, who is married to a prominent Rhode Island podiatrist, Brian,

Swanson is a former Miss Rhode Island, who is now one of the state’s top makeup artists. She’s been in a 10-year relationship with one of Rhode Island’s “most notable figures.”

Tiberi is the “self-proclaimed town gossip” and is one of the top aesthetic practice development managers in the country. She’s married to her high school sweetheart Gary, and they have three kids, Gian, Jolie, and Gia.

Cohen previously teased that the cast of the new Real Housewives series is “incredible.”

“They are very Italian. Rhode Island is such a small state, and they all kind of know each other and overlap, and it’s an incredible group of women who have really interesting connections,” he told Page Six. “I think it’s going to really surprise people.”

He later described the show’s vibe to PEOPLE as “Italian with a capital I” and said it’ll give fans “early Jersey vibes,” referring to The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

The Real Housewives of Rhode Island will premiere in 2026. BravoCon 2025 continues through Sunday, Nov. 16 at Las Vegas’ Caesars Forum.
