The National Wild Turkey Federation Announces State and Local Scholarship Opportunities

Klamath Falls, Ore. — The Southern Oregon Buglin’ Toms chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation is excited to announce that the Dr. James Earl Kennamer Academic Scholarship submission portal is now open for high school seniors.

This scholarship recognizes and rewards current high school seniors for their outstanding academic achievement, community involvement and leadership roles.

Eligible students can apply for a $500 scholarship through their local NWTF chapter. The winner from each chapter will be eligible for a $1,000 scholarship at the state level, and all state winners will then compete for the prestigious $10,000 national scholarship.

The NWTF is proud to have awarded more than $5.8 million in academic scholarships to students across North America who demonstrate a commitment to conservation, academic excellence and who possess the leadership skills to make a difference.

Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements and submit all application materials for consideration. For eligibility requirements, state-specific deadlines and to apply, visit the NWTF application portal.
