With the holiday season already here in a very real sense, finding the perfect gift that hits that balance between thoughtful, practical, memorable, and won’t destroy your credit card statement can be tough. I’ve been a big fan of High Camp Flasks since I first tried out their Torch flask – which we’ll be checking out again today, but in a slightly different configuration. Just in time for the gift-giving season, High Camp Flasks has announced their various Bundles, which include the Torch-inspired Elevated Sips Bundle we’ll be reviewing today, as well as their Modern Host, Sundown, and Firelight Flask 750 models.

OHUB Review: The High Camp Flasks Elevated Sips Bundle
The Bundle comes shipped in a nice enough box, perhaps overly ostentatious given that the entire purpose of the Adventure Ready Bundle is to take the flask and the included spare shot glasses with you. As soon as you open the box, it’s clear that these well-made flasks (from China) are made quite well and aren’t just another cheap set of flasks and shot glasses. The stainless steel, nice matte finish, and sleek design give it a premium feel that anyone will appreciate, and their burnt bronze color is my favorite and is almost always out of stock.

As I mentioned earlier, the bundle includes one flask with three tumblers, one of which is already included with the bundle. This is a thoughtful feature that takes the hassle out of sharing drinks and comes in handy quite a bit. This makes it an especially great gift for someone who loves to entertain outdoors or enjoys social occasions while adventuring. Whether it’s hiking, camping, tailgating, or an apple squeeze party like the one I attended, this set had all the right pieces to help complement the fun atmosphere.

To test this kit out, I paired the bundle with Woodford Reserve bourbon during a recent apple squeeze where I was making homemade cider. Sharing the warm, spicy notes of the bourbon softened by the fresh apple juice in the set’s tumblers created a cozy, festive vibe that instantly had others curiously wondering where I’d picked up the clever flasks. A lot of people were particularly interested in the fact that the Torch can be filled from the bottom, making it less likely that you’ll commit a party foul when trying to fill one of these flasks.

The no-drip pour and the secure PhantomLock Technology meant I could pass it around confidently without worrying about spills or leaks for those unfamiliar with it. This is a major plus when you’re outdoors or when you’re passing the Torch or one of the larger Firelight flasks around.
Pros and Cons
One of the best things about the Adventure-Ready Bundle as a gift is its practicality wrapped in experience-driven value. What I mean by that is that the Torch or any of the other High Camp Flasks are not just about carrying alcohol—they’re about the moments you share over a drink. The flasks’ ability to keep drinks hot or cold for up to 24 hours makes it a versatile companion for all seasons, although most of the time I am using this exclusively for room-temperature served drinks. Although if you like chilled or freezer fresh alcohol, the firelight does a great job of keeping things nice and chilled for much longer than a plain old bottle, and it’s not nearly as clumsy or spill-prone as a Thermos or Yeti tumbler.

One quality control or perhaps design issue that I did notice is that over time, some of the magnetic shot glasses can develop a slight magnetic rattle. However, this minor issue does not detract from the overall elegance and functionality of the shot glasses, and they’re still capable of attaching themselves to magnetized surfaces of sufficient density. I believe this little imperfection is easily outweighed by the bundle’s overall charm and functionality, and it’s something that could potentially be improved in future releases. Still, it doesn’t stop me from wholeheartedly recommending this as a gift.

What ties everything together with the Elevated Sips bundle is the two included high-quality wool cases. These little cases are a nice upgrade for not just carrying around the shot glasses, but for the Torch itself as well, which normally only comes with a microfiber carrying case. These wool cases are much thicker, providing better protection, and to be quite honest, I think they look better too.
Final Thoughts
In a sea of cheap holiday gifts that often feel rushed or impersonal, the Adventure-Ready Bundle stands out to me as a present that is perfect on several levels: sophistication, practicality, and a good dash of uniqueness. Paired with a favorite bourbon like Woodford Reserve, it opens the door to countless moments of joy, connection, and celebration for someone in your life who you know enjoys having a nice drink with family and friends away from home.

Whether you’re giving it to a seasoned outdoors person, a bourbon connoisseur, or squirriling one away for yourself, this bundle makes for a great piece of drinkwear when you’re traveling or visiting. So this holiday season, consider checking out the Adventure-Ready Bundle. It’s one I’d highly recommend for anyone who enjoys high-quality spirits and savors drinking experiences.
