“The Bachelor”’s Daisy Kent Reveals All the Details of Her Engagement and the Moment She ‘Blacked Out’

Daisy Kent is pulling back the curtain on her engagement!

On Tuesday, Oct. 21, the 27-year-old Bachelor alum’s “first day being a fiancée,” she shared a TikTok recounting how her now-fiancé Thor Herbst popped the question during the couple’s Italian vacation the day before. She “blacked out” during the special moment, she told followers.

Kent, who made it to the finale episode of season 28 finale last year before finding love off-screen with Herbst, had just arrived in Tuscany on Oct. 20 when the couple headed to the first stop on their itinerary: wine tasting.

“The bartender was totally playing the part, gave us a little bit of red wine, was telling us all this history about Tuscany,” she recalled. “I literally have videos of me videoing on our wine tour, and then all of a sudden, we pull up, but we don’t pull up. We walk up this staircase.”

“And all of a sudden, the wine tasting guide guy, he backs up slowly, looks at Thor. And then I look at Thor. And then I look, and there’s a bunch of daisies and tulips, and it’s this really pretty grass area,” Kent continued. “And I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh, it’s happening.’ ”

As for what happened next, the Bachelor alum can’t exactly recall.

“And then I blacked out, you guys,” she said in the TikTok. “I don’t remember anything.”

“He literally got down on a knee. I glanced at the ring, and then I looked at him, and I was just, like, looking at him,” the former reality star recalled, smiling. “And then I was like, ‘Wait, I didn’t even look at the ring!’ ”

Herbst also popped into the video at one point to tell Kent, “You’re cute.” She then added, “A cute fiancée.”

“It was so funny after it happened, though,” she continued after the sweet interruption. “We’re looking around and he’s like, ‘There was supposed to be a photographer here, but there’s not.’ And then I was like, ‘Oh.’ And then we look over and he was legit hidden in the trees.”

The sweet TikTok then ended with a clip of Herbst planting a kiss on Kent as she showed off her engagement ring to the camera and declared, “Happily ever after.” She also looked to the future in the caption, where she added, “Gonna be a wifeyyy 🤭💍😭❣️.”

Kent and Herbst — who were previously college sweethearts before rekindling their romance in spring 2024 — announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post on Monday, Oct. 20, sharing snaps of their flower-filled Tuscany proposal.

In the photos, the couple can be seen smiling and lying on a bed of grass surrounded by an array of white florals, and celebrating their happy news with a sweet kiss and a bottle of champagne.

“Love you forever❣️,” Kent wrote in the caption.
