Week 8 of the 2025 NFL season rolls on and the action will conclude with a Monday night showdown featuring the Washington Commanders visiting the Kansas City Chiefs at 8:15 p.m. ET on ABC/ESPN.

The Commanders’s 44-22 loss to the Cowboys last Sunday marked their third loss in four games and to make matters worse, Jayden Daniels suffered a hamstring injury that will keep him out of Monday’s matchup. The good news is that the team will be getting veteran wide receiver Terry McLaurin back on the field for this primetime showdown.

Below, we’ll go over McLaurin’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 8.

Fantasy Football analysis: Commanders WR Terry McLaurin

McLaurin is returning to action this week after missing the last month with a quad injury. The last time we saw him in action was in their Week 3 victory over the Raiders, where he caught three of four targets for 74 yards. The All-Pro’s absence affected several fantasy managers across the board as he was the No. 15 receiver in ADP ahead of the season. We’ll see if he can give a jolt to an ailing Commanders offense.

Start. McLaurin managers were forced to look for alternate options over the past month and can safely re-insert their guy back into the starting lineup now that he’s back in the picture. The absence of Daniels is a bit of a concern, but remember that it was Marcus Mariota starting the last time the veteran wideout was on the field. Welcome back Terry.
