“Tell Me Lies” Star Benjamin Wadsworth Announces Engagement to Cait Pool with Romantic Photo Shoot

Tell Me Lies star Benjamin Wadsworth is engaged!

The actor, 26, popped the question to his girlfriend, Cait Pool, last week in a rose-filled and candlelit romantic proposal. The couple announced the news in a joint post on Instagram on Monday, Nov. 10.

“11•6•25,” Wadsworth captioned the post.

The Deadly Class alum added in the comments, tagging Pool, “oooooo you’re my fiancé.” The bride-to-be replied, “oooooo we’re gonna get marrrrriiiied.”

The newly engaged pair shared several photos from the proposal, which appeared to take place in a white studio overlooking a skyline at sunset. The space was decked out with vases of red roses and more than a dozen candles. A semi-circle of red rose petals were arranged where Wadsworth proposed on bended knee.

The couple matched in formal black attire for the special moment, and lovingly embraced in several shots. One photo was of six instant photographs of the proposal, with Pool’s new diamond engagement ring sparkling in the center on top.

Friends of the soon-to-be bride and groom shared their congratulations in the comments section.

“YOU DID IT!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” Superman star Maria Gabriela De Faria wrote.

Actress Olivia Holt commented, “congrats cuties! 🥰🥰🥰.”

“Congrats you two!!!!” Murdaugh: Death in the Family‘s Johnny Berchtold added.

Wadsworth and Pool publicly debuted their relationship in 2024. On Dec. 13, 2024, Pool shared three cozy photos with Wadsworth on Instagram.

The pair have continued to post about each other this year, with Wadsworth sharing photos with Pool at a romantic getaway in Hawaii in February. Two months later, he posted more photos with Pool at a Renaissance festival.

Wadsworth was previously engaged to actress Stella Maeve, 35. The former couple share 5-year-old daughter Jo Jezebel.
