A portion of Summit Street in Gainesville will see lane closures early next week due to sewer work in the area.
The City of Gainesville Water Resources Department said sewer main improvements will block one lane of Summit Street between E.E. Butler Parkway and Chestnut Street starting at 9:00 a.m. Monday.
The closures will last from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day, with an expected completion of Wednesday, December 10.
“Please drive carefully and follow construction detour signs,” the water department said. “Be on the lookout for construction workers and equipment in the area.”
Anyone with questions on the road closure is asked to contact the water department by calling 770-538-2456.
