A Toccoa man is facing Stephens County charges for Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and bestiality.
The Stephens County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) was contacted Monday, November 3 by the FBI Atlanta-Gainesville Resident Agency regarding an ongoing Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) case where the suspect was determined to live in Stephens County.
Following an arrest made by the FBI Pittsburgh Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force in Pennsylvania, FBI’s Atlanta-Gainesville office received information behind 59-year-old Jimmie Dominici, Jr. of Toccoa indicating that agents discovered electronic messages containing child exploitation material which were exchanged between Dominici, Jr., and the individual arrested in Pennsylvania during the months of February through August of this year.  The subject matter was sexual in nature, including the dissemination of CSAM and videos of subjects engaging in bestiality.
When SCSO investigators reviewed the case, they confirmed the material included CSAM and bestiality. Videos contained inappropriate material of children ranging in age from four months old to eight years old, as well as other various incidents with animals.
On Wednesday, November 5  SCSO investigators presented the case to the judge and obtained four arrest warrants and later executed an arrest and the search warrants at Dominici, Jr.’s residence in Toccoa. During the search of the residence, investigators located and collected various electronic devices to be analyzed.
Dominici, Jr., was arrested and transported to the Stephens County Jail without incident, where he remains in jail pending a bond hearing with a Stephens County magistrate judge for  three counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children and Bestiality. The FBI release added that this is an ongoing investigation, and future charges may be pending. Anyone with further information regarding internet crimes against children or child exploitation, is asked to contact the SCSO Tip Line at (706) 886-7048.
Through further information obtained from the FBI, the four-month old child was positively identified and rescued.  The second unidentified suspect was arrested in Ohio on sexual assault charges.
