The BLITZ Girls Basketball Players of the Week are Zara Gosse (White), Vi’Tory Williams (Commerce), and Millie Southards (Rabun). Gosse won the Fan Vote with 8,976 of the 27,535 total votes. Williams and Southards were the BLITZ Picks.
ZARA GOSSE – WHITE COUNTY



Zara Gosse dropped in a double-double for the top-10 ranked Lady Warriors. The White County junior forward had 14 points, 12 rebounds, and added two blocks last week in their game. This is her first POW award.







VITORY WILLIAMS – COMMERCE


Commerce star guard Vi’Tory Williams is off to a great start for her final run as a senior. The Lady Tigers’ standout averaged 12.0 points, 4.5 steals, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.5 assists last week for the 8-0 team that is now top-10 ranked. This is her first POW award.





MILLIE SOUTHARDS – RABUN COUNTY

Freshman phenom Millie Southards has already earned a lot of hype. She was named Preseason All-State before even playing a varsity minute. So far, she’s delivering. The guard averaged 14.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 3.5 steals last week for the #3-ranked Lady Wildcats. The Rabun County star shot 60.5% from the floor. This is her first POW award.
