Reba McEntire has hit her mic drop!
During the Monday, Nov. 17 episode of The Voice, the country music icon and The Voice coach was left to choose between Cori Kennedy and Aaron Nichols in the Knockout round — and she went with Nichols.
For the Knockout round, Nichols performed “You and I” and Nichols sang “Hurricane.” Afterward, McEntire, 70, gave both contestants some feedback.
“Corey, you are a powerhouse. When you hit the stage, everybody knows you mean business,” the “Fancy” singer said.

“Aaron, all of your years in Nashville performing have paid off because you are a seasoned veteran up on that stage,” she added. “You both are so good. I’m so proud of you.”
When host Carson Daly asked her to make a final decision, McEntire chose Nichols.

“I chose Aaron to move forward because he knows his lane, he’s very powerful in his lane and he stays in it,” the “Consider Me Gone” singer said.
Then, she made a bold move and used her one mic drop button on Nichols, meaning she’s nominating him for a chance to sing at the upcoming Rose Parade. Each coach is only able to nominate one artist from their team — and then America will vote for the winner.
“I think Aaron has a great shot to be on the stage at the Rose Parade and give a wonderful performance,” McEntire said.
Last week, coach Niall Horan used his mic drop on Nashville trio DEK of Hearts.
“I think that every time that DEK steps on the stage it’s so solid, so consistent and they challenge themselves. I think they deserve the chance for America to see more of them,” Horan, 32, said.
Earlier this season, Michael Bublé used his mic drop on Max Chambers. Only coach Snoop Dogg is left to make his pick.
The Voice airs Mondays at 5 p.m. ET on NBC.
