Thanksgiving Day football games will have something for everyone!
On Sunday, Nov. 16, the NFL announced halftime performers for the games taking place on Thanksgiving Day, including Post Malone and Jack White.
The “I Had Some Help” singer, 30, will perform at the Dallas Cowboys vs. Kansas City Chiefs game in Texas. Malone announced the news in a social media video, which was in collaboration with the NFL and the Dallas Cowboys.
“The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Kickoff will feature the biggest matchup and one of the biggest artists of our time,” a voice-over says in the video. Then, Malone appears in the driver’s seat of a blue semi truck as he announces: “Bigger is always better.”
“Post Malone is teaming up with the Salvation Army to spread joy as big as Texas,” the voice-over adds.

In a separate post, Malone — who was raised in Texas — shared behind-the-scenes photos of the video, wearing a Dallas Cowboys jacket and a cowboy hat.
“honored to be part of the @dallascowboys@salvationarmyus red kettle kickoff halftime show. see y’all on thanksgiving 🍻,” he captioned the post.
Meanwhile, at the Detroit Lions vs. Green Bay Packers game, the former White Stripes frontman and Detroit native, 50, will headline the halftime show. Fellow Detroit native Eminem and his long-time manager Paul Rosenberg will produce the event, following a multi-year partnership with the Lions to produce the team’s halftime shows from 2025 to 2027.
The Detroit Lions and NFL also got creative with this announcement. On social media, they shared a video of a vinyl being made in a factory — and the label includes White’s name, the date and location of the game.
In the end, White appears wearing a Lions-blue shirt and he mysteriously stares at his reflection in the mirror.
The Detroit Lions captioned the post: “Hot off the press.”
In addition to Malone and White, rapper Lil Jon will perform live at the Baltimore Ravens game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Thanksgiving.
Malone has a history with the NFL. Last year, the “Circles” singer made a surprise appearance during Beyoncé‘s epic Christmas Day halftime show in Houston. Together, they sang their hit collab “LEVII’S JEANS.”
In 2024, Malone also sang “America the Beautiful” at Super Bowl LVII in Las Vegas.

The halftime performance announcement comes after the “Chemical” singer wrapped his Big Ass Stadium Tour with Jelly Roll in September, which was in support of his F-1 Trillion album.
Meanwhile, White was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on Nov. 8 as a member of The White Stripes. Though his ex-wife and former bandmate Meg White was noticeably absent, he gave a speech on behalf of both of them.
