Polls are now open for the 2025 municipal elections in Georgia.
There are contested elections across the region, including mayoral races in Braselton, Jefferson, Lula and Sky Valley. There is also a contested school board race in Gainesville and several contested city council races.
In Hall County, voters across the county will also be voting on a Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax referendum. The county has had a SPLOST in place since 1985, with the most recent one being approved by voters in 2019. The one currently on the ballot would be SPLOST IX.
Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. A full list of contested races in the region, and results as they become available, can be found on AccessWDUN’s Elections page.
