The BLITZ Softball Players of the Week are Londyn Rylee (Banks County) and Lilly Hamilton (Dawson County). Rylee won the Fan Vote with 11,181 of the 25,862 total votes. Hamilton was the BLITZ Pick.
LONDYN RYLEE – BANKS COUNTY
Banks County had several standouts in the first round of the playoffs – with Peyton Gaylor, Tylee Strickland, and Londyn Rylee shouldering the load. Rylee, a freshman left fielder, hit .667 (four hits) with three runs, a double, and a triple. She earns her first-ever POW award.
LILLY HAMILTON – DAWSON COUNTY
Dawson County similarly had several standouts in the Lady Tigers’ opening round playoff win. Sadie Dotson, Kylee Pulley, and Bryce Greenwood were awesome, but so was Lilly Hamilton. The junior shortstop batted .833 (five hits), knocking a homerun and recording six RBI, six runs scored, a double, walk, and stolen base. It was an incredible performance for Hamilton, who earns her first POW award.
