The Piedmont University Singers, directed by Bobby Ivey, will present a free Fall Concert on Thursday, Nov. 13, at 7:30 P.M. in the Piedmont University Chapel.

University officials said the concert will feature songs about faith and love, including selections by contemporary composers Z. Randall Stroope, Daniel Elder, Dan Forrest and more.

A highlight of the program will be Herbert Howells’ A Hymn to St. Cecilia, featuring Piedmont collaborative Organ Artist in Residence, Louise Bass.

“The Sewell Organ is one of the best pipe organs in the southeast and it’s an incredible experience for our students to perform with this magnificent instrument,” Ivey said.

The concert will also feature Dr. Heejin Park, who is a Collaborative Pianist and Instructor of Music in the Conservatory of Music.

This 30-member auditioned ensemble brings together music majors and non-music majors from a variety of disciplines across Piedmont’s campus.

The Piedmont University Chapel is at 992 Central Ave., Demorest, GA 30535. More information on fine arts events at Piedmont can be found here.
