An online petition has been started at change.org urging Hall County District Attorney Lee Darragh to drop the charges against the five young people charged in a prank that ended up taking the life of a North Hall High School teacher.

Rather than condemn them with criminal penalties, we should focus on healing and understanding, fostering an environment where students can learn from this tragedy without their lives being upended.
