Multiple police officers are on the scene of an incident at Palmetto Elementary School on Carlton Road.
FOX 5 Atlanta received multiple calls regarding a possible shooting shortly before noon. However, Fulton County Schools would only confirm there is a criminal investigation into an incident outside the school at this time.
The school district also said that the school is currently on “hard lockdown” and students are being transferred to Bear Creek Middle School. Additionally, they confirmed that no students were involved in the incident.
Parents will be sent reunification instructions, according to the school district.
