Oreo Releases Thanksgiving-Inspired Cookies Featuring Turkey & Stuffing and Creamed Corn Flavors

Oreo’s latest innovation brings turkey and cranberry sauce to dessert.

The snack brand revealed its brand-new Thanksgiving Dinner Inspired Cookies on Oct. 29. The cookie sandwiches are each coated in fudge but, here’s where the Thanksgiving flavors come in: the fudge is infused with the flavors of six different Turkey Day dishes.

Oreo Thanksgiving Dinner Inspired Cookies are available in dessert-inspired flavors like Apple Caramel (not to be confused with the previously released Caramel Apple Oreo) and Pumpkin Pie (but not the Pumpkin Spice Oreo). The rest of the lineup is inspired by Thanksgiving with more savory references like Turkey & Stuffing, Sweet Potato, Creamed Corn and Cranberry Sauce.

Each treat is tinted in a fall hue to correlate with the festive flavor. For example, Creamed Corn is dunked in a bright yellow fudge with a light yellow drizzle while the Turkey & Stuffing cookies are aptly brown and, well, brown.

The limited-edition cookies are packaged in an Oreo-shaped tin. There are two of each flavor in every package and it goes for $20 online.

Krispy Kreme is also taking flavor inspiration from the season. 

The bakery chain revealed nine new doughnut flavors, six of which are permanent menu items. They are all available starting Monday, Nov. 3.

The new flavors are: Maple Iced, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Pumpkin Spice Cake, Original Glazed Kreme Filled, Oreo Cookies & Kreme, Biscoff Cookie Butter Kreme, Cinnamon Apple Filled, New York Cheesecake and Original Glazed Cake

The introduction of new baked goods means that a few Krispy Kreme classics are leaving. Fans will have to part with the Original Glazed Blueberry Cake, Original Glazed Lemon Filled and Cake Batter doughnuts, though Krispy Kreme noted that these flavors could return down the line.
