Week 10 of the 2025 NFL season rolls on and the action will continue this afternoon with an AFC South showdown featuring the Jacksonville Jaguars visiting the Houston Texans at 1 p.m. ET on CBS.

The Texans were unable to hang on late in an 18-15 loss to the Broncos last Sunday, a game that starting quarterback C.J. Stroud exited in the second quarter with a concussion. Running back Nick Chubb didn’t offer much on the ground and we’ll see if he can get it going in this important divisional matchup at home.

Below, we’ll go over Chubb’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 10.

Fantasy Football analysis: Texans RB Nick Chubb

Chubb took 11 carries for just 34 rushing yards in last Sunday’s loss to the Broncos. The veteran All-Pro hasn’t been much of a factor in fantasy football this season, averaging just 3.4 fantasy points per game in all scoring formats. Rookie backup Woody Marks cutting into his workload plays a huge factor in that, but it doesn’t help that Chubb is averaging just 3.9 yards per carry with that number decreasing with each passing week.

Sit. Even if the Texans go towards a run-heavy gameplan with Stroud potentially out, I still don’t trust Chubb to suddenly experience a spike in his numbers this afternoon. That’s especially the case when going against a Jags defense that has surrendered the third-least rushing yards to opposing running backs this season. Sit him.
