NEW XBRAID X8 Jigman – Elevating Jigging Braid
Daiwa and XBRAID are here to bring out another premium braided line with the XBRAID X8 Jigman braided line. This is a new braid specifically designed for vertical jigging, manufactured using the XBRAID proprietary WX weaving machines and processes to deliver the most consistent finished product possible. Instead of using a traditional weaving method that employs eight individual bobbins, the X8 Jigman uses a new method that adds no twist to the line and keeps the braid super consistent throughout its length. This also makes for a denser weave, which is 1.5 times denser than the competition. Beyond the secret WX weaving method, X8 Jigman uses IZANAS strands, a next-gen material that is well beyond traditional Dyneema. The ultra-high molecular weight, polyethylene strands offer the strength and modulus of an organic fiber, while being 8 times stronger than piano wire of the same gauge. Finally, there is a water-resistant coating applied for added slickness and less water absorption in the line. This makes for a more taut and sensitive line, which is essential for detecting bites when fishing deep with jigs. Daiwa XBRAID X8 Jigman braided line is available in weights of 10 lb to 80 lb, in spools of 300yds, 600yds, or 3000yds. The line is metered with a color change every 50 feet and has an MSRP of $35.99 to $349.99, depending on breaking weight and spool size.
