Two North Georgia lottery players won several thousands of dollars in drawings, including one in a new game.
Mega Millions winner
A Georgia Lottery player won $30,000 in the March 31 Mega Millions drawing by matching four of the five white-ball numbers and the Mega Ball.
The ticket had a built-in 3X multiplier, tripling the prize from $10,000 to $30,000. The lucky ticket was purchased at the Kroger Fuel Center at 1670 Highway 124 in Snellville.
The next Mega Millions drawing will be April 3 with an estimated jackpot of $90 million.
Millionaire for Life winner
Another player won $7,500 in the March 31 drawing of the brand-new Millionaire for Life game. That ticket was purchased at JP Lee Road, 7512 Lee Road in Lithia Springs. The ticket matched four of the five white-ball numbers and the Millionaire ball number.
Millionaire for Life is a new nightly game from the Georgia Lottery that gives players the chance to win $1 million or $100,000 a year for life. Tickets can be purchased at retailers statewide.
