Motorcyclist facing 16 charges following chase

STATE PATROL NARRATIVE:

“About 10:30 Monday morning, a Trooper checked a motorcycle traveling eastbound on Friendship Road at 76 mph in a 45-mph zone. The Trooper attempted to conduct a traffic stop, but the driver, later identified as Jeremiah Reynolds, 30, accelerated and initiated a pursuit.

 The motorcycle continued eastbound on Friendship at a high rate of speed, splitting traffic and running traffic lights.  Reynolds went straight onto Bayberry Dr. and made a U-turn.  As he was traveling westbound on Bayberry, a Braselton Police vehicle blocked the roadway.

Reynolds swerved to the left, struck a curb. and then proceeded to flee on foot. He was caught shortly after. Hall Co. EMS arrived on scene and transported him for minor injuries.”

Reynolds was still in the Hall County Jail Tuesday afternoon in lieu of bonds totaling $12,400. He’s charged with:

*POSS FIREARM/KNIFE THE COMMISSION OF CRIME
*POSSESSION OF SCHEDULE II DRUGS
*FLEEING OR ATTEMPTING TO ELUDE
*OBSTRUCTION-RESISTING OFFICER/ARREST
*DUI-DRUGS
*OVERTAKING AND PASSING ON LEFT
*REGISTRATION AND LIC OF MOTOR VEHICLE
*DRIVING WITH SUSPENDED/CANCELED/REVOKED TAG

*REMOVING/ AFFIXING LIC PLATE W/ INTENT TO CONCEL VEH IDENITY
*LICENSE – WRONG CLASS OF LICENSE
*OPERATING MOTORCYCLE ON ROADWAY LANED FOR TRAFFIC
*CHANGING LANES / SLOWING OR STOPPING / SIGNALS REQ / TURNING

*FAIL TO MAINTAIN LANE
*OBEDIENCE TO REQUIRED TRAFFIC-CONTROL DEVICES
*RECKLESS DRIVING 1ST OFFENSE
*SPEEDING
